I bought a new vibrator the other day (the Rabbit...heavenly), but it stopped working after only about 9 days, and the story won't take it back because i've already used it.

WTF? That thing cost me like $70 bucks!

I don't know about the USA but in the UK you would have the right to demand a refund or a replacement if the product is faulty or not fit for its purpose - even if you have used it (but not misused it).

No disrespect intended, but if you were using it for nine days (and I know you probably weren't using it nonstop) there's a good chance that the batteries wore out. I have similar problems with my Walkman.

Nah there's not enough voltage in a couple of batteries to even feel the shock. Now the big mains-driven ones (I think it's called a sybian? I know WAY too much about this), that's a different matter!
