Dear all, It's been for ever since I last wore a bra. Perfectly happy not wearing bra's. But since a couple of months my breasts get really sore up to 10 days before my period. It's been really bugging me especially when I'm working (lots of walking). So I feel like I could do with some extra support during these +/- 10 days a month. But I don't like bra's! What are your alternatives? I have been wearing these tops with breast-room in them for years, they offer a little support but not enough for the before-period-soreness, also these tops are reeaaallly old and need replacing but I can't find any cotton ones (in the Netherlands) :S How do you hippie chicks out there do it? Oh and this might be good to know - I'm 25 and had C-size breasts last time I checked (years ago haha). Thanks a bunch for any advice! x Loes
I wear exercise tanks a lot. If they get stretched out i get new ones. Never put any of your underwear in the dryer and only wash on delicate cycle with cool water they will last at least twice as long and probably much longer. Also if your underwear is getting stretched out it may mean you are gaining or loosing weight.
I was going to say this. It's funny I go back and watch "Scarface" fairly regularly and imagine all of the double sided tape used to keep Michelle Pfiffer and Mary Elizabeth Masterantonios dresses on. Ouch! Stay Brown, Rev J
Avoid xenoestrogens in inorganic food, fluoridated water, chlorinated swimming water, chemical based hygene and cleaning products... That should help. Maybe try eating some soy and flax, too? Otherwise, maybe you can wear dresses that are more supportive. And start working our chest muscles too. That might help
Sports bras. No apostrophe, btw. Camisoles with built-in support, exercise tanks/ yoga tanks. Just try to get ones that wick perspiration away. Strengthening your pectoral muscles will help, too. Is your premenstrual pain newer than a year? If so, pay attention to other changes.
try using a bando. thats what i wear. you can find one at american apparel for sure http://www.thelilcaliph.com/e-Boutique/images/maternity/fmd_bando_00.jpg
You could look up some breast firming/lifting exercises. I've only heard of one. - What you do is you put your arms out in front of you, entertwine your fingers, squeeze your palms together, and then relax them.
try the lycra tank tops. they fit tight, hold you in place and come in any color. buy them in the PJ department of any store. cost anywhere from 15-25 $. Hope this helps.
i mostly wear ones made of cotton with no underwire, stil in shape of bra. What about the aaah bra lol i havnt bought one but want one!
