don't have to many 'friends'

i get along with people pretty well, but i don't have very many actual friends. i'm really picky with that word aktually, i find many people acquaintances but unless it's someone i talk to or see on a regular basis i'm not friends with them. my mom says i'm a loner... i think it's kinda funny she says it but in a way she's pretty correct.

some people get annoyed by me saying that and say it's dumb but it's just the way i think, is anyone else like that?

yeah i like being around people but i'm peculiar with being social. i like to check things out a lot before i can be comfortable, i don't trust people easy, but it depends on the day. some times i'm fine and out going then some times i'm quiet and just hangin out.

 

True friends are rare.

You are wise to be selective. Nothing wrong with being a "lone wolf".

It has been said your true friends can be counted with one hand. (meaning 5 fingers). I think that is correct.

But I am a recluse. So I am not the right person to ask.

 

I have one rl quality friend. Its all I need. I choose to be alone most of the time.
I do have friends who Ive never met. from here. UA Is my friend.

Well I have to close all the window myself.. So you can imagine how wet the carpet gets..

I do think it is possible to develop connections to people online. I definitely have a connection with you.

But in real life dealing with me on a regular day to day basis you might think I am an asshole.

But she was talking about people she deals with and lives close to and interacts with in person.

 

haha i mean both actually, i like the people on here, that's why now that i'm not working it's like i'm on here because i enjoy the people... there's people that are sarcastic and understand sarcasm.. and there's people that enjoy the same things i enjoy and don't judge and aren't prissy and i dig it. it may be lame but who cares

However liking someone and being a real life friend are 2 different things.

Hilder is one of the exceptions becase she has been their for me for a long time. We knew each other before we came on HF.

yeah i like people on here but i wouldn't consider myself really 'friends' with any except for soaringeagle (he lives not too far from me and is a very great guy) and this kid mike who is barely on here ...
