If I don't thank you for rep or return it. People do it for me and I never do. Makes me feel kinda bad

I've noticed the offended are the ones most often taking offense or being offensive.

 

I need more rep for Christ's sakes. Sometimes I thank people for it. Sometimes I don't. I remember back when the system didn't exist at all.

 

See what I mean? Look how much longer you've been here and how much more I hagve (not bragging). Returning it would mean I nevewr get to use rep for what I want. It's just a hastle. And I have a fundemential problem with anything that resembles a circle jerk.

I don't see rep like giving dap, where it's a diss if you don't dap back. I rep on a post by post merit.

I actually think I should be allowed to give more rep daily than I am currently allowed. Clearly I'm good at it.

 

I really don't want someone to rep me back just because I rep'd them. I want to earn it... but I'm not very funny, so I have my proud single green dot

I give someone rep because they deserve it (as was said), I don't care if they thank me for it.

 

I just meant that by not saying "thanks" every time, I'm not meaning to be rude whatsoever. I just figure that they wanted to rep me and so they do it regardless of whether they think they'll be thanked.

When I rep people I never think 'will they thank me for it'.
