Hello, all. I ordered this doll over a year ago, and she just arrived today.
She is Kim Lasher's Zoe BJD doll (ball jointed doll)
She is made out of resin, and has articulation points everywhere including her wrists and ankles. That is why these dolls are called ball jointed dolls....You can change their eyes, as the eyes are held in with a clay substance and their wigs....I may change her eyes if I keep her. I usually wait a few days, and see if the doll is really for me, as one never knows when they order dolls how they are going to feel about them, until they arrive in person. I think she is cute.....and this is the outfit she arrived in. You can change their clothes, as well. She is 16" tall.

Kim Lasher is very popular in the doll industry....If you ever order one of her dolls, they take so long to arrive, as she handpaints each one, etc.....This is number 30 out of 50 made.....
Whenever Kim offers any of her dolls, they usually sell out in the first day.....This is the last doll Ibought in the doll world.....I have quite a few Kim Lasher dolls, as she was one of my favorite BJD doll artists......

There will be 2 or 3 or 4 replies here to show some of the photos I took of her today.....
I had her holding a mohair cat I had from someone else's artistry.

Also, share any dolls, stuffies or toys you may have.....

I will probably keep adding to this thread over time, as well....I have a lot to share.....:)

I do still keep getting new doll emails all of the time, and this was in my emails yesterday.....a boy BJD doll from Iplehouse.....I never bought boy dolls much, and if I was still buying dolls, I would buy this one....
Anyone that wants to spend over $600.00 on a BJD doll can find him being offerered for sale at Iplehouse. I am not buying any more dolls. I need to sell a few myself here....

I have not looked at the Lasher Studio site until today, and I would be in serious trouble here, if I were still buying dolls....Look at Lena! I would have gotten the tanned skin, dark haired version of this one...and would be selling Zoe and someone else right now to pay for her....LOL

I can turn one of my other Lashers to be similar though to the dark haired version That is comforting....:)

Ever since I got a puppy my stuffed animal collection has been kind of ignored by me and it makes me sad. They sit on a queen bed closed on the spare room all together. I only realized the other day when making the voice for Ursus I thought hey I miss those guys! So Rufus went on my bed, Ursus and Blaze to the lounge room.
Puppy tries to eat their faces. Ursus wollops him in the face with his big soft polar bear paws. ^.^

Nice doll, though. Very Nordic. =p

I have this devil baby with horns...She's custom made. I don't have a better pic on hand but she's soft bodied with vinyl limbs and head.

I have a Madame Alexander Bride Doll that I got for my birthday in 1965. Also, I recently bought a doll just like my favorite 1960's childhood doll and a doll like my mother would have played with in the 1930's.

Unfortunately the pics are gone from ebay and I haven't made any of my own. I'll put it on the to-do list.

My daughter has a collection of porcelain dolls that was started for her by a friend of mine. All 14 of them are packed away in a china crate as she is weirded out by them now. As a little girl she use to turn them to face the wall. I removed them from her room and had them on a shelf in the play room for years. When we moved we crated them up and she did not want to unpack them.

I will keep them in case she does change her mind as some point in the future. Maybe they will grow on her. If not then at some point she can find them a new home. :)

My son is creeped out by dolls and his father married a woman who collects dolls - floor to ceiling all over their house. As a teenager, my son couldn't go and spend the night there.

I forgot that I also have a porcelain baby doll in a Christening gown. Actually, I have two. My dad bought one for me and one for my mother when I was 17.

    Is that rosemary’s baby?

That’s really disturbing, and why would anyone want a doll with devil’s horns unless it’s part of some type of bizarre satanic ritual or black mass
