Suárez spent her life feeding stray animals like dogs and cats in her hometown of Merida Yucatan. After she died, her family held her funeral in a town more than 830 miles away. There, her family was joined by a pack of stray dogs.
Wow, those dogs knew the kind of person she was even when they brought her into a new town 830 miles away from the animals she cared for daily! I want dogs and cats and birds to appear at my funeral! I feed 20 cats and a few dogs everyday; plus birds, raccoons and o'possums.
I think animals know much more than we give them credit for- it doesn't surprise me at all. Perhaps this wonderful woman led those animals to her funeral, or they were drawn to her energy. What a beautiful thing! I hope animals will honor me.
Or maybe these stray dogs were used to her scent and showed up the day she died, she didn't come to feed them, so they followed the scent the 830 miles to the funeral home. Regardless, so beautiful
