Since getting dreads, My hair has been prittey much the same length. Has anyone elses hair grown much and for those who have had theirs for ages, do they grow slowly?

Well I am no expert, but here's my 2cents. If your dreads are newish, like 6mths or so, then the hair is still knotting up, so there for, all the new growth you would see in not dreaded hair is being sucked in and knotted up as well. After the dreads are more "mature" you will notice more actual "growth" as in length......That's totally IME though! LOL

Yes, exactly. Mine didn't really seem to shrink up much, or grow, for about a year. As it grew, they tightened, and the length was sucked up by that process. So for a good year or so, I had dreads that were maybe chin-length. :) Since then, they've grown slowly but surely. It definitely takes quite a bit longer for length to add to locks rather than unknotted hair. I think my hair has had a bit of a growth spurt this year, though... They definitely feel longer. There's a pic in my gallery of my locks from the back, that's a few months old. I think I've got a couple/few more inches since then. :)
