so, i hate seeing black people come into my job. i can't stand helping them. they don't tip. they're rude. they run you around.

I say racist. But someone's sure to disagree with me.

No-one leaves me any tips. (EDIT: Got a $20 tip yesterday. Forgot. First one and probably last ). People are rude. Everyone runs me around.

Most of my customers are white.

i agree with LM in the sense that most people are pretty rude in general. tbh though, i don't get many black people where i work, and the few we do get are usually ok, no worse than anyone else, infact one chap takes the piss out of me a lot, but its kinda funny if im in the right mood, but i don't know what its like where you are, so i couldn't say.

But it's understandable. I'm there trying to do my job as good as I can, and people have to line up to order meals, and buy beer, and get seated, and maybe listen to a crying baby. All they want is their food and a glass of wine

Side Note: I have a few very very very nice regular customers

(And omg, one of them is black! )

 

same here. some are lovely and will have a nice chat. especially once they start to get to know you. tbh most just ignore me rather than be deliberatly rude, which can be kinda rude when you say hello and get nothing back.

i see that just as an observation of your surroundings. none of us are there with you. if the blacks are the only ones who dont' tip and do those things you mentioned, i dont' see it being anywhere close to being racist

maybe bigoted..not racist...its racist when you stop them from coming in...i had a friend that couldnt keep a job at the hardrock cafe in t.o. because of the tourists...polish..japanese...jamaican...didnt matter...if you had a map and a camera she hated you because it was way harder to serve them and she found many didnt tip cause they were never comin back so they didnt care...obviously there was exceptions as in everything.....

 

i'm guessing most of you don't live in the u.s. and don't meet many black people. not that it has anything to do with the issue, but my man is black.
i just hate serving black customers. they simply don't know how to act.

the church crowd is worse. as a waiter i never got tipped on sunday lunch shifts. they'd rather tip God(who doesn't even take credit cards) than someone who serves their breakfast.
