When I'm smoking weed, I usually smoke it out of a bong or a water bong. Well once I take a monster rip or something similar, I'll inhale all the smoke from the hit and hold it as long as I can. After about 20 seconds I'll let out the cloud of smoke. Now here is the technique I have learned recently and was wondering if it gets you higher.I'll take a hit from the bong and hold it until I can't anymore then blow about 1/4 to about half of the smoke out and then close my mouth again (with a little bit of oxygen mixed in) and then I'll keep holding my breath until I can't anymore then blow a small amount of smoke back out. So I was wondering if this gives the THC in the smoke more time to get me more higher?
No, pretty much all the THC is absorbed by the time you hit 7-8 seconds. Holding it in longer than 10 is just a good way to guarantee more tar build-up.
The best way to make your smoking most efficient is to pack one hitters so nothing is left burning. Then take more smaller hits and inhale fresh air afterwards, so all the smoke gets into your lungs and doesn't stay in your airway. Or get a vaporizer. Ghost hitting is super bad forr your lungs and questionably more effective.
I'll agree with the one hitters idea, although I've learned by taking many many one hitters daily that it's actually better to take a huge rip, compared to tiny little hits. Of course, that huge rip has to be taken in one shot. Anyways, bigger hits = bigger high... in my experience.
a lot of high boosters are mental/psychosomatic. If you expect it'll make you higher, it will. You can pull the smoke into your lungs while imagining pulling in the breath of god, and as you exhale, you imagine the impurities in your soul are being exhausted with the smoke you blow out. it's a form of meditation that boosts my highs more than anything else. point is, the mind is what boosts your high. if you bring inner forms of getting high to the table, mary jane will give even more.
