I think I may be paranoid, but whenever I post something drug related I get the feeling that those DEA bastards are going to somehow track me down. Do you think they ever go through these kind of websites and try to bust people or somehow get warrants to search peoples houses?

Well of course they do. That is how they set up people for controlled deliveries.
But, it depends on the forum a someone is on and what they have been doing.

Shit, someone can get busted and give out their e mail and user names/passwords in order to not face time..

In my mind the worse case scenerio would be a damn agent taking notes while on a damn computer trying to find out who the main guys are.:(

but this is just my opinion and shiva does not do stuff like that:cool:

I've had pm's from people trying to sell me things, or asking me to sell my meds. I've had people ask me to advise them on online pharmacies, even though they can use Google. I don't know if they're cops or on the level, but I just ignore them.

Of course they do. But they're not going to bust JUST you, we'll all go down in a forum-wide sting.

They've done it for 'roids before, don't think they won't for hard drugs.

They'd have to have a reason to get your IP address from the administration, and then go from there. So in essence, don't post anything you wouldn't want anybody to know. But there's nothing wrong with discussing drugs in general.

I'm pretty sure all communications on the internet are documented and combed by the government constantly. They DEFINITELY have the technology and money to do it.

Yeah but someone like me can talk shit. I can say I have shit, sell shit, and consume it daily... then they could break down my doors and realize I was just fucking around. I don't think they really give a fuck.

Of course if they see a site selling drugs or something they can go after them, but they don't sit on the Internet all day looking for people who are involved with illegal drugs.

I think you underestimate the amount of communications data that transfers across the Internet. The resources required to monitor all of it would be absolutely monumental.

Is there much chance of them coming to arrest you for something you say on the net?

With the exceptions of direct threat of physical harm against a person, not likely... Unless of course it is after the fact (ie, you said you were going to break into a store, and the store got broken into and now they are looking for you type of thing).

Do they monitor the net? Of course they do... that is such a silly question to ask.

Do they use what they learn in order to do their job? Of course they do...

Why do people always assume cops (or other leo's) are stupid? Sure, some of them are, but some of them are really smart, and some of them are in between, just like the rest of us.

If you were a cop, would you search the net for help in doing your job? I sure as hell would, just the same as I use it now to help me do the jobs I have to do on the farm here...

This isn't like wondering if the cops bugged your phone... they don't need to do anything special to read what is written online. They log on just like you do... They can even do it from home when they are off duty, just like you...

After all, the net is open to ALL, not just those who don't like cops... lol

You know some office worker at the dea file sorters office has nothing better to do than scout the internet looking for his piece of glory.

    Likelihood? It's probable.
