Someone on another forum said that olive oil causes cancer and that vegetable oil causes heart disease?

    Is it true?

I dont think so...vegetable oil is used to replace any oil produced from animals- because almost everything from animals causes heart disease and colesterol. Therefore, it is better to use vegetable oil instead of animal oil. however, animal oil needs to be used in small amounts because some vitamins only work combined with this type of oil.
to sum up....everything is good in reasonable quantities. and I dont think that it has scientifically been prooved that olive oil causes any type of cancer..

For cell phones it is true that it has a negative influence on the brain, and shouldnt be used by childrens.
It has been proven now.Not that it causes cancer but disfuntionment of hte brain.
Also that the waves they work on sends through masters, are the reason why bees are dying all over the planet.
There is less and less bees in europe and us since the cell phones exist, and for the past 5 years they have died massivly.

Not good. I know thats really smart to can call them and them you, but its a nono.
Unless they dont use it much. then its alrigth.
If they are all the time talking with friends on it, not good.
sms is better, as oyu dotn have it on your ear near the brain, but not good for grammatical abilities later..
also when so young better talk.
I am not sure, but using a thing in the ear with a wire connected to the phone insted of having it on the ear directly, should reduce the effect a lot.
    Dont you think?
I am pretty sure of that in fact.. so give them those wore things.
All what send radio waves to the brain aint good for long.
and if directed agaisnt the hear like that like with a headset, is not good.
with a cell phone it is worse because of al the electronic there is inside it. its a computer, we just dont know much yet qabout the effect of the cell phones radio frequency. and its satellite connected as well, so we wont know for real all its effect on us, users as non users, before a long time has passed.
Cell phones waves are every were, send by masters who are posted everywhere inside and around big cities to can cover the entire area, and they are sending constanly.
The cell phone capt it specifically, and in it is more dangerous.
The day nobody will be making money on cell phones, we will know a lot more about it.

Actually the news onetime said olive oil could cause cancer.

It is true if used in excessive amounts. 1 tablespoon mixed in some pasta might not be bad but dont use 2 cups!

It is true that olive oil can cause cancer because it is an unsaturated fat and not very stable.

Saturated fats are more stable but also are known to cause heart disease so i guess neither one is good to use too much of.

Id rather have my food stirfried in olive oil than butter.

They say 1 drink a day for a woman is ok and 2 for as man but more than that has been linked with increased risk of cancer.

It is like with everything else... moderation is the key.
