Does it matter which political party you cast a vote for?

Here is a good article about some things that Mr. Obama & Mr. Romney agree on. Important issues, like the war on drugs and the daunting TPP. I personally feel although Democrats and Republicans may walk down different aisles during the day, they all cozy up to the same table at night and share their dinner. With the same corporate donors and the Citizens United debacle I would expect nothing else. Anyway, check this out:

They are the same, but people focus on all the rhetoric and the superficial shit used to make the two sides only appear different. On all the major issues, the two parties are IDENTICAL. Once you realize this, you realize that politics are designed only to make the masses believe they have a choice and a say in their destiny. This is what prevents there from being a REAL revolution in this country, because as long as people THINK they have a choice, they will be content to passively go to the polls every 2-4 years and pull the lever for their candidate of choice, while the only thing that changes is that things progressively get worse as time goes on, regardless of who is in power.

When Bush was in office, I said to myself that things couldn't get worse. Then Obama got in and in fact they did get worse. Things will continue to get worse no matter if Obama or Romney wins because that is part of the plan, and both of these clowns represent the same power structure consisting of multinational corporations, banks, NGOs and other unelected bureaucrats in high positions of power. They are the ones calling the shots -- not fucking Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. These guys are just frontmen who read off a teleprompter. Their only purpose is to make you believe that they're the ones in control when nothing could be further from the truth. That, my friends, is the definition of so-called democracy in a nutshell. It is nothing more than an illusion used to keep the masses from revolting as they're getting proverbially fucked up the ass.

I think it's more important not to focus on the fact that presidents and presidential candidates are the same, but that they have no REAL power other than superficially. Behind the scenes NOTHING ever changes. NOTHING!!!!

I think it does. Maybe to a very limited degree, but it does. I don't mean to insult Mitt Romney, but I think Obama gives off more of an intelligent vibe. When people have an intelligent president, their spirits are uplifted, regardless of his, or maybe even her, policies.
