In my opinion albums are meant to be listened all the way through first time around. But after that skipping a song that doesn't do it for ya is okay. No wrong done man. Its still a great track though.
Yes you are a terrible person! Ha, really though if you want to skip it thats ok i always skip Yesterday.
Ah good, I was feeling awfully ambivalent about it, haha Generally I can't stand to skip songs on an album (I never understood people who can put a CD on random)
Lol, Revolution 9 has its use and it probably isn't recreation. Though, try getting REALLY stoned off some great weed and listen to it with noise cancellation headphones. I've seen evidence that the complete jumble of senseless noise puts the brain into a minor trance and when you're high... Then try it on acid. Too much.
"Number nine, number nine" No, it doesn't make you terrible, but you should at least listen to it once. Preferably stoned.
Yes, of course I have listened to it and I don't skip it every time...but yeah, I was listening to it out loud with my parents around and I was in the kitchen...it wasn't really the place, you know? I've never listened to it stoned
i dont know how to break this too you. but your going to hell obvv kidding. its not for everuone thats for sure, i like it, its just so far out there.
Maybe if it was never released and they put it on Anthology or something, I don't think it should be on White but it's definitely something fun to listen to from time to time. They should also release Carnival of Light
I know what you mean. Some songs are more for a private experience, because not everyone is getting the same message from the song as you are. I suppose it all depends on if they liked the beatles growing up
I usually skip it too- it takes too much time, and that album is already really long, compared to other Beatles albums.
from what i've read none of the other beatles even wanted revolution 9 on the album. john insisted on it though. though i've never heard it stoned (and that prob would be fun)..it's def not my cup of tea either.
I skip the entire album, as I do with all Beatles albums. I love rock music and and classic rock is my fav, but I cant stand the Beatles, so I skip everything.
