does henna(sp) hair dye actually work?

whenever i dye my hair myself with other hair dyes, the color never comes out. so do any of you know if hena's colors actually come out?

 

only if it's expensive...yes, only the expensive stuff works.

that might be sarcasm, but i don't know the world of hair care.

 

im gonna post cause i feel bad for threads with not lots of posts...

but i would have no clue, my hair is too dark for most dyes to work anyways, and i also wouldnt dye my hair also...nonetheless, couldnt you ask the, uhh, retailer

Don't do it. I know several who've tried and definitely did not succeed.
