How does colour affect your mood?

Red, orange and yellow are next to each other on the wheel and are all warm colours. Warm colours often evoke feelings of happiness, optimism and energy. However, yellow and orange can also slightly irritate the eyes and red can increase a person's appetite.

It does indeed. Mood lighting has proved that.

Also, I think that Artists are inspired by the colours they choose.

I would say yes it does. Blue seems to be calming. Red can make one just the opposite. Interestly enough many psychiatric hospitals were painted in colours meant to calm or sooth the patients but later studies showed it could have the opposite effect.

Ash with marble and granite, along with a dull orange and brass became one of my signature designs.

Considering that bulls are colour-blind I think you're safe Candy. Just no sudden movements ;)

Use this tool to show us a beautiful colour and tell us how it makes you feel. I have chosen Bright Turquoise because it is the colour of Mako and that is very important.

In fact, bulls are partially colour blind compared to healthy humans, so that they cannot see red. According to the book "Improving Animal Welfare" by Temple Grandin, cattle lack the red retina receptor and can only see yellow, green, blue, and violet colours.

    I Googled.

From the start or the design to completion took me 7 years and I went £585,000 over budget.
When Jane was asked at the opening what I was really best at, she immediately replied, "Spending other peoples money".....That told me. :yum:

I enjoy an orange like I just posted. I like how it reminds me of juice.
