does anyone know?

    how i would go about getting my dog certified to become a "therapy dog" , i.e. visiting senior homes and spending time with the elderly......

    might also check with your local aspca .and other shelters/rescuers ...for the part shelters and rescuers are real big animal people ... my wife is out of town at the moment upon her return will try to remember to ask her ..... she's currently in college for animal mngmnt as if you noticed i'm a old broken man though she is 21 yrs younger ...she loves all animals... after suggesting aspca noticed you were in diff country ...but sure you have some kind agency thats the same

    Check with the Humane Society! They do a volunteer program like that and you get some instruction on what to do, then sign up for times to take your pet to nursing/retirement homes, and go for it.
