These are highland cattle from Scotland... Their stringy hair sheds rain.. http://images.google.com/images?hl=...ttle from Scotland.&um=1&ie=UTF-8&sa=N&tab=wi
that's the kind we used to have, (minus the tags) and people down the street had the fuzzy ones and i was talking to my dad about how i was jealous of the fuzzy cows. i also had a cow named spot that looked like this sort of. we had him for about 6 years then my dad sold him, i grew close to him. i stopped eating beef for two years after he was sold cause i didn't want to have a chance of eating him i was young hahaha
My guess is Galloway. http://www.ansi.okstate.edu/breeds/cattle/galloway/index.htm They have hair longer than a typical cattle breed, but shorter than the highland cattle, which have quite long hair. Considered rare in Canada (as per Rare Breeds Canada). http://www.rarebreedscanada.ca/priority-cattle.htm
Somewhere on my computer I have a picture I took when I lived in Scotland of a highland cow standing next to one of those red phone booths out in the middle of nowhere. I wish I could find it.
