Read The Psychedelic Experience, although he doesn't talk about his own experiences but rather helps you for yours. I've heard Acid Dreams is another good done by him. read The Doors of Perception. It isn't by Timothy Leary it's by Aldous Huxley and his experiences with mescaline. Really good, critically acclaimed, essay type book.

One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest by Ken Kelsey isn't about Leary, but the guy who wrote it based it on his experiences with people experimenting with lsd....Pretty much what you're looking for, just not leary

The major evolutionary step is taken when the individual says: "There is only one God who creates the universe. This God is my Brain. As the driver of this Brain I have created a universe in which there are innumerable other Gods of equal post-hive autonomy with whom I seek to interest. And my universe was, itself, created by a Higher Level of Divinity—DNA, whose mysteries and wonders I seek to understand and harmonize with." From The Intelligence Agents by Dr. Timothy Leary, Ph.D.

I think this may explain Leary's position on the Mormons. He also said "Beware of Monotheism".

    No, he meant LDS! LOL!

The Chief is up to his old tricks.

But it's funny you should mention Leary, as he is up next in the batter's box!

Uh, I mean, his article is queued up next to be scanned, OCR'd and posted up on:
    http://www.coolove.org

It's called: The Politics of Consciousness Expansion

His co-author on that little ditty is:
Richard Alpert (sorry, he was Jewish back then, not LDS, now he's something completely different - I'm not sure what...) ;)

It was published in 1963 in the Harvard Review which I am archiving because it appears nowhere else on the Internet. So we have an exclusive, along with all the other stories from that earth shattering, first ever, publication about psychedelic research.

I'm sorry Chief, but Mr. Smith and his hordes of Osmond clones are notwithstanding...

    LOL! That's cause I ain't done it yet... ;)

Too busy! The archive queue just keeps gettin' bigger!

Do all LDS members take LSD? That's what I want to know!

If not they should! Then they can see Jesus in America just like Mr. Smith did.

    Isn't Mitt just a Trip?
