If you do, I will send you the DVD version of the movie "Leon: The Professional", for free. I ordered the movie off of Amazon in the summer, and stupidly didn't check the item page where the seller clearly stated the DVD is region 4. As I am unable to watch the DVD, because my player does not play region 4 DVD's, I would like to be able to send the movie to someone who can.
Yeah, he did, because it clearly stated on the item page that the DVD was for region 4 players, and would not play in Canada/USA. I didn't check the item page, I just added the item to my cart and went to check out. It was all my fault. Lesson learned.
DVD's are encrypted with 'Content Scrambler System'. It prevents stupid devices from playing any region. Does your computer have a DVD player? If it's windows download VLC.
I don't need the DVD anymore. I bought the same movie on blue ray after the whole debacle with not being able to watch the first copy of the film i ordered. I really want to give the DVD away to someone who will be able to watch it and enjoy having it in their DVD collection.
That sucks! Well, good luck finding someone with a region 4 player. I didn't even know there was such a thing before this thread.
i play all my dvd's on my computer's drive. no idea what regions it supports and which it doesn't. never considered getting a seperate portable one worthwhile.
