A gospel is an unquestionable truth. So it's kind of repeditive saying gospel truth. That's what I get out of it. I chuckled the first itme I saw it. But I don't know if there's more to it than that.
lol, sorry about that. I get what your saying, but I meant... "An open mind is like a castle with it's gates down." Does anyone get that?
ohhh ohh I think I do... does it mean like your mind is easily influenced or something..cause you know like a castle with its gates down will get attacked and taken over..same thing with your mind...Its just ready to be attacked and taken over...
"An open mind is like a castle with it's gates down." hmmm,......that's tough. That's actually an oximoronish metaphore IMO....
:H Hmmmm... If we went Freudian, and you were the castle, your gates being down would represent a big, open hole. Okay, okay, I don't get it. Sorry.
Yeah, you're right. It's satire. Remember those lame posters in elementary; "A mind is like a parachute, it works best when it's open."? well, everyone get it now? So...what kind of reward did you have in mind?
Wow, I didn't know it was a joke. I thought it meant that your mind should be a stronghold, but not sealed off, leave access for traffic. Kind of like "Never have a mind that is so open that it's empty" or however that one goes. The castle is open, but still strong. I thought it was supposed to be deep, lol.
