    I know I am being impatiient but some days i am better than today its been about 8months now and they are locking great but they dont seem to be showing length to me everyone else sees it, though. I know they are getting long cause they keep tickling the insides of my ears and and around my kneck so I guess i kinda answered my own question. lol Just wondering if anyone else goes through this sorry so long.:D

    its simple...you see your hair all the time, hence you cant see the changes because there so small.. others , who see your hair in longer increments see bigger change.

    so, to summarize;

    The longer you go without looking at your dreads, the more change you will see.

    sux i know but its all apart of the process.

    And yes, most of us are or did go through it.

    peace

    I lost at least 4-6 inches in length the first year (people thought I had cut them), and the next 2-3 years or so, my dreads seemed to grow slowly in length, but they were definitely growing thicker at that time. Now, at almost 5 years, all of a sudden I've noticed that my dreads are half way down my back! When did that happen???
    Be patient and let your dreads lead you on their special journey.

    learning patience is part of the process as well. mine keep getting shorter and shorter. I'd prefer them longer of course, but they will do what they will do.

    i believe it's pretty simple, if they aint growing, they're getting tighter for a bit. nothing wrong with that eh =)

    some peoples locks are growing, but aint locking that much etc, everyone gets stuff at their own times..part of the beauty of it all (=

    Yeeeah sure we all know the feeling! Be patient and humble about it and your dreads will reflect that. :peace:
