In fact, can anyone tell me why it's still used, apart from for showing scanned documents? Everything it does can be done just as well in HTML or a word processor, and it doesn't have to open up a resource-draining program every time you need it. There's no copy-paste function, and it freezes my browser up every time I try to close it.
you dont even need it for scanned documents.. at work we use IXOS and it works great..easy to use as well
