does anybody want to do a travelling dreadie swap box?

ok, so i stole this idea from RT. I think it would work better here b/c we are a smaller group and have many regular users.
Basically a swap box is a box, that you put a bunch of cool stuff in that you want to give to someone else, in exchange, you take something from the box to keep and send it on. I can't find any real info about it on the internets. I just think it would be fun, especially sine we live all over the world.
Anyone interested? Anyone know more about this type of thing?

 

So it is a geocache, without having to hunt it down?!?

(if you don't know what a geo cache is, it is a hidden box or something, that an online community hides. Hints or coordinates are given, and when you find it, you put something in if you take something out, and sign your name =P)

If I weren't 15. My dad would have a cow if I had given my address to people over the internet.
But I love the concept, and I have so many things I'd send along.

(I saw it on RT too, but thought is was just toooo many people)

 

Funny you just wrote that Vig. I was in my room and I have this great little handmade hippie top, but I've outgrown it and have on one to gift it to. I was thinking of posting a pic of it on here for anyone that might want it. Cue very eerie music.

One thing to consider is the cross border charges that may be incurred. We would maybe have to do it by country and then on to the next to avoid too many costs.

In short, I'd do it.

I have a couple blocks of really nice exotic African wood I have been meaning to turn on the lathe and make some beads lately. I might be able to make a couple of those to trade if I get time this week.
