i love that movie i watched it so many times. if youlike that you should go rent the movie "the tenth kingdom" the guy who played willow is in it along with some other not so famous people. its a fantasy movie it puts all the fairytales into one movie and one storyline its really good.

Great movie. Haven't seen it in ages though. I always liked the arcade game as a kid too....played it a lot in the movie theatres.

I saw Willow. I also have all 4 (Yes, FOUR!) Hobbit films.
The first was a 70's Rankin-Bass animation where Bilbo found the ring.

Try "Dark Chrystal" sometime. I think Frank Oz does one or more of the voices.
You know Frank from Sesame Street, and YODA.

Yeah, I love Willow. Saw it when I was a child and the whole movie blew me away. It still does, however those parts with the queen are kind of cheesy. I want to buy it someday!

Those two little celtic-like figures are so cool :)

I recall the Rankin-Bass Hobbit. Orson Bean did the voice for Bilbo, and some guy named Brother Theodore did the voice for Gollum. I think John Huston did Gandalf, which was a fairly good choice for an American actor.

As for Willow, I have a copy and pop it in every six months or so. George Lucas was the creator, and Ron Howard directed. Probably more little people cast than any movie since Wizard of Oz. It's not great high fantasy, but it's still fun if you don't expect LOTR or Citizen Kane with magic.

"Somebody quick, help! It's a peck with an acorn and he's pointing it at me!"

    Willow was great.

Also: The same folks that made the Hobbit animated movie also made the Return of the King -- animated of course-- in 1978.

    In conclusion, Willow = good.
