Does a bulb vaporizer have to absolutely airtight?

Because I have made mine and no matter what I do, I cant get my straw (actually a pen tube cut in half, all the way sealed. It is sealed though, only a little air can escape when I suck through it with the carb plugged.

Also, is it true this gets rid of the smell? Or atleast, will the smell go away within a sealed room over night?

Never mind it worked, quite well in fact.

try holding the flame further away from the glass or use better weed. And buy a real vap

 

I'm kinda scared that the smell will still be strong tommorow. I'm supposed to be hiding this from my mom, and a window is not available. Its a small house too. I toweled the door and closed the vent.

Am I just being paranoid? After all, not that much smoke was emitied (is that a word?).
Do you think that it will be noticable tommorow?

no there shouldnt be much of a "weed" smell...there will be a little bit of smell but it wont smell like weed. it smells more like a stagnant water musk
so if u have incence or somthing you should burn that to take away the smell or blame the smell on
and if it does smell like burnt popcorm...make some popcorn to blame the smell on

also to keep the smell away make sure u are using the vap right. the weed is not suposed to burn

 

How do you use them exactly? I usually wait 'till mine makes a thin smoke, but I've heard this is wrong.

 

there is no exact way to get it right without alot of practice and exparimentation
the thin smoke is a good indicator as to when to stop lighting it but if you really want to "vaporize" there shoud be no smoke.

 

Yea, I just wait until there is a thin white smoke, too, and I think it is wrong.

I've been hitting it all day at the computer, nobody even notices. The smell goes away within 2 hours, I think, and that is with me using it wrong. It was actually a pretty good time, last night, I got under my blanket and the light coming into it looked like I was in a cave, or something. Optical illusions kick ass.

 

But wait, if the thin white smoke appears, will it smell like weed, then?

If I was to take a metal pipe, put a miniscule amount of marijuana on the screen, inhale the whole thing, hold it in for a long time, then blow it out of my window will they be able to smell it across the house?

 

make a tent under your blanket,(just sit up under it and close everything), use a blower(toilet paper roll stuffed with dryer sheets). Light the bowl, take a hit, then cover the bowl, and hold the smoke in for a second or 2, exhale slowly threw the blower, if there is any smell, it will be gone by the morning.
