I'm sure its pretty even..love makes anyone, regardless of gender, do crazy shit. Maybe it differs according to gender though. I have seen women do some crazy shit in the name of love.

What an outrageous claim, and not even a half assed attempt to even try and back it up. I disagree 100%.

i dont like psychiatrists much because i think you can make anything out of nothing and i think its a shit-easy job. well having said that i do have a knack for figuring out people but thats just what i think. i did psychology in univeristy and it was interesting but very easy and obvious a lot of the time... and like 80% of the class were literally idiots who just do the subject to be all up themselves and "analyse" people

as for doctors. i trust them but not completely. you cant trust any stranger completely and in EVERY profession there are fuckwits who think they are the shit and are in it for the wrong reasons. but i believe in science and medicine a lot. i am from a scientific family of all well-meaning individuals, my biggest influence being my father who is a doctor and has all his intentions in the right places with his patients being top priority.

the problem is people expecting doctors to be perfect. to be gods, when they are just people, trying to do their jobs, and if they fuck up and someone dies, well, thats life, and if they are trying to help then thats all you can ask for.

i self diagnose a lot. and diagnose my friends. not seriously, but often people ask me what i think about their health. ive only ever been to a doctor about 4 times because my dad usually takes care of me.

you cant brand all doctors the same thats ridiculously stupid.

Oh, don't worry, speak your mind, this is free forum, but, you know, saying that love is overrated is a bit contradictory to hippie beliefs...Or am I wrong?...

But that's what we're talking about.

We need to have greater values, and more reliance on natural healing herbs, more concern for our fellow creatures, less reliance on the system and comercialism to tell us what to drive, what to eat, who, and how to marry, what is beautiful, and how much we have to weigh.

As hippies we must must set an example to ourselves when it comes to self-healing and really stop putting so much faith in some brain-washed proffesors that have sucumbed to the Reagan system of righteousness.

Don't forget who fought against the hippies and tried to erradicate them,to disuade them by prressure to give uo the hippie ways, and to some level he succeeded, had he not been governor, the world would be very differnt right now. His number is the number of the beast 666 (not THe beast)

    RONALD WILSON REAGAN

We now live under that system that decided that people needed to go to doctors for advice and what drugs to take, and not choose ourselves what feels good inside. Why was LSD persecuted? and the peace-pipe?

The system aims conciously or unconciously to eliminate free choice, to control every aspect of life, and you'd have to be blind or lobotomized to not notice that slowly we all lose our freedom and rights, yet disguised under the pretense of freedom like Hitler did until he reached total autonomy, then he unleased his madness upon everyone including his own.

Anything that wakes you up is bad for the system because then you could be somewhat self-sufficient and that is a danger to an imperialistic society where the emperor has the last word and all the power over the individual.
