Probably a poll, but here it goes...
Do you wish to be older (not going back in time) or
younger than you are now and how many years?

Sometimes I wish I was younger, like 5 years old or so, I miss those easy days! And sometimes I wonder what life will be like when Im older. But generally, Im happy where I am rite now, thought at times it feels defeating :)

I miss the younger years of my life. Playing all day outside until it gets dark is something I would love to experience again. I would much rather be a few years older, though. I think 25 would be a nice age. I would have even more independence than I do now while still being a young adult.

I'm pretty content with where I'm at now but sometimes I do miss being a kid. Coz being a kid was awesome. :D

I wish I was four again. I watch a close friend's daughter, age four, and she is just so carefree, social, and excited about life...

so if I could be any age, I'd be four.

Me, I would wanna be 30 for life. Women are more mature and self-sufficient at that age-range, 22-35, and college is over, one is mature enough, but not qualified to be called "old". It was a great time from 25 to 40, yet considering all of that, I'm enjoying my retirement, and the freedom to be lazy.

    i don't know...

we'll see how 22 goes...21 was interesting, but wouldn't want to go back

15 would be nice to go back so i could do my bike trip again....but i can always do another trip like that...

being a carefree 10 year old would be nice again...just running around, playing football on the street, being active in all the sports i played with my friends...

Not sure. I wouldn't want to really be any younger I guess, but I certainly wouldn't want to be any older. I'm having a rough time with the fact that I'll be 30 next year.

I'm with ya on that one, hcm. I don't really wanna be any younger but I'm happy not getting any older either. Yes, I think I will stay 26 forever. :)

I sometimes wish that I was 30... I really feel that it will be better than my 20s.. hopefully. Definitely not younger though.

Eh, being 15 is okay. I wouldn't mind being 12 or 13 again, though.

A week older would be perfect.

Normally I wouldn't want to be older, but say if I knew I was going to meet Paul McCartney or something...

I might wish to be like 25 years older or something, probably so he would take me a little more seriously during our conversation. But I don't know if I would want it to be permanent, probably only for our meeting, and then i'd go back to my regular age. :)

age of what? sure i'd like to have an eternal physical age of 12, a mental age of inifinity, a legal age of adulthood (or where there is no such thing as the legal fiction of underageness), and live forever. but more importantly to live WHERE the surrounded culture/sentient species, has itself grown up, well beyond the collective mental age of earth humanity's currently dominant culture.

so the "age chainge" i'd be much more interested in then that of my personal self, would be that of my surroundings and their cultural values. an age chainge that would, if anything, reduce, if not completely eliminate, the signifigance of personal age.
