I don't. I don't think Russia's reaction to Georgia's attack on the citizens of South Osettia should lead us into another war. What it should lead us to is an understanding of how some ethnicities are looked upon as less than human, and I think that's exactly what Georgia's attack on South Osettia was. They attacked an area they felt wasn't worthy of humane consideration. And they were armed and supported in their efforts with US funds and military resources.

Why should we feel compelled to support Georgia's ethnic cleansing? Because a pipeline crosses that area...haven't we fallen for that before. Let's get off oil and perhaps we couldn't be manipulated any longer.

I am sure no news media would even venture to say the great US is amping up to a nuclear conflict. But if you wish to point missiles towards another country you should be willing to accept they are going to point some at you as well.

I guess Israel and the US never used depleted uranium bombs in the middle east, but I guess those don't figure into the nuke category. They kill and continue to kill long after the conflict, but you can't be called up for using nukes in that case. Much like deaths caused by Blackwater cant't be ajudicated because of executive order.
