I'll put my money on yes.

I can't vote though. It would be a conflict of interest seeing as I run huge illegal gambling pools betting on the outcome.

I'm guessing yes. He fulfilled what he said he was gonna do, and is doing what the democrats want. All political fundamentals aside cuz i don't wanna get into that, he's a great president.
The next republican would really have to take the hearts of the people.

Pretty safe bet that he will, in large part because of health care reform.

No. He would not have been elected the first time if people would have been listening.

What might Obama run on in 2012? Extending unemployment benefits?
Currently his emphasis is on changing the form of government, and increasing it's size, control and intervention, and I might add he's doing a great job of accomplishing that.

But are we ready to let him, totally destroy our country. When in doubt vote him out.

No, the political right is the majority and the pendulum is going to swing back to their side.

I've been noticing that the overall atmosphere is that people are upset at Obama for one reason or another, even the political left. More and more people seem to be changing their worldviews but that could just be because the parties shifted and it could be superficial changes... but I think that the political right, if they change face (Meaning, the political right transforms and embraces Libertarian values), then they will beat out Obama in a landslide.

Educated guess? Not really, but I am sensing something big happening for the political right... just a personal observation.

Come 2012, you may find that you have to show your Union card in order to vote. If ever the "right" can get someone elected President once again, at least he/she will have unlimited things to blame on their predecessor, but the problems may be near, if not impossible to fix.

If it is against Sarah Palin or any Repugnantcan't .... I'd vote for him. Even though I'd rather vote GREEN. I can't risk the insult to America if Sarah Palin got elected. By the time she was through, Zimbabwe would be more powerful OR everyone on the planet would be dead from nuclear holocaust.

He's a puppet on a string, America needs someone who can pull them through rougher times.

So no, it's not bullshit, it's just an opinion. I don't think Australia really understands what a government is yet- so i'll let your jibe slide

though word to the wiser, kangaroos make awful country leaders

If people want to see what type of president he really is, they will give him the second term. The first term, everything he does, has to be balanced with the view to the next election, that is the nature of the system. A president's second term is when you find out if he is more or less of a puppet then other presidents...
