do you think my sister in law is mad?

she's married (well obvousily to my brother!) 2 young children, the eldest is about 4.
they are going away in the middle of July. Next week she is getting breast implants done so she will look nice on her vacation, so presumably she will still be in pain when she goes away.
they've taken a loan out, it was a choice between new tits or a new car for her.

Which should be checked by having a second opinion -
an opinion from a doc who does not have a vested financial interest in similar procedures.

The medical community isn't as Trustworthy as it once was...

 

It's not quite like the 'olden day'. She won't be cut open like a kipper .. i imagine. It might be quite informative to go along yourself. Then you can tell us how good or bad it is.

A little cynical i think. Though i don't think being overly cautious is a bad thing. especially were health is concerned.

I agree with what you have said. At the end of the day it is a medical procedure. I think it would be quite easy to find ot the level of experaince of the surgeon and clinic carrying out the procedure.

 

I would imagine the least you can do for yourself is to carry out a few safety checks first

You don't need to be in the operating theatre. I am sure the clinic provides helpful pamphlets. I am sure the doctors are open to questioning.

You can always go on some trashy chat Show.. ''I told the ho not to go''. Or something along those lines .
