Despite the cost, I prefer an afternoon out. Although staying up all night watching dvds with friends is fun too... I'm undecided...

rentals I have to pee too much and don't like being in enclosed areas with lots ofpeople because smells bother me and the general public really needs to bathe a bit more but if it's something I can't wait to see I'll sit through it.

I would much rather snuggle up with my boyfriend on the couch than in the theatre. Just like Lynsey, I have to pee a lot as well.

    Id rather rent it..
Theaters blow in my opinon, you always end up sitting next to either crazy people, noisy ass people, or people who love to talk through the whole movie, or someone tall in front of me.. and countless other things, not to mind you the cost of a movie..
hahaha with all that said, I would go see it if it was something I couldnt wait to see..

i prefer to rent them...if the cost were not there, i would prefer the theater, but since it is, my mind is conditioned to simply wanna rent , except on christmas day or some movie i absolutely have to see on the big screen

I like both. There are some movies you just HAVE to see on the big screen, like the other night when we went to see Phantom. That just wouldn't have been the same, seeing it for the first time on a tv screen. But other movies are good enough to rent, but not good enough to spend 13 bucks a ticket on at the theatre. And like others have said, there's always people who ruin it for you. Like when we went to see the Grudge, just when it got to one of the scary parts, these stupid girls behind us dropped all their change and started shrieking with laughter ... but we complained to the manager and got free passes so... i guess it all worked out.
