Hi, the title for my 2nd peice is 'New Moon', I was inspired by thinking of when/if we are colonizing another planet's moon and the picture is from the perspective of the ship landing on the surface. I use gouache paint. I also completed this today, hope you like it...
Gouache, eh? Are these for a class you're taking? Also, it helps an old dude who's accomplished in that medium, as well as others, to know your age and for how long you've been painting. That's because even if a particular art form isn't my favorite, there's nothing to limit proper critique. Experience, thus age and level, help as a critique guideline. I'd make different comments to someone who's been painting for 5 or 10 years contrasted to someone who's been at it for a quarter of a century. I can say your use of color has some merit.
