I have a tax paying job, but with deductions and exemptions I get all my money back every year. I have a tax paying job because I don't have a drivers license which makes it hard to have a non tax paying job.

 

Oh, I have a job alright, I just don't get paid for it, at least, not in monetary means, but what I do get in return is way better than that.

Well thankyou...and I totally agree, it really is rewarding. Hard work, yes, but worth every bit of it. Afterall, I'm shaping tomorrow's future. I love my little ones so much it makes me want to cry. Heck, I'm tearing up right now.

Dammit, I was just getting to like my job again and you had to go and remind me that I have to pay taxes.

Actually, I do love my job. I do HUD rehabilitation for the aged and underpriviliged. That means when people are too poor or too old to fix up their home, the government pays me a pittance to fix up their houses. I gotta figure it's tax dollars going to a good purpose for a change, they certainly aren't being spent to build or deliver bombs.

And you have my utmost respect, HCM, I was a single dad for 10 years. Parenting is the MOST important job there is.

 

I've paid taxes for 7 years... as long as I've been able to work. Not working isn't even an option to me. Just the way I've been brought up. You'll get it back eventually anyway.
