When big things are coming do you start getting scared?

Maybe an anticipated date? Maybe a big promotion or change of career?

How do you handle that feeling of fright or anxiousness? Do you have a routine you follow or some lucky underwear or something that you break out?

When big things come, I don't get scared, I get excited... But for that stomach feeling of excitement or what-have-you, I rather enjoy that and can make me feel almost giddy at times.. But this is just for the situation for when big things come, for bad situations it's a bit different...

I feel this way sometimes. As a defense mechanism.

But when I'm anxious, I try to get into a process-oriented mindset. As opposed to result-oriented.

I give myself tiny little goals on the way to the big goal. And I try to gain a sense of accomplishment from the teeny ones, because really, after you've accomplished something big, you ALWAYS realize it wasn't such a big deal after all.

    Pressure is my friend.

A little nervous, yes. Scared, no. I just try to focus on whatever it is I have to do and reassure myself that I do in fact have the skills necessary to do it.

I don't really have a lot of fear. as for nervousness for upcoming big events, I usually wing it and because I know that it's going to work out, as things always do, I don't get very nervous either.

i can be very confident and fearless and i can feel helpless i prefer the confidence but its mostly out of my control.

also i tend to perform well under pressure and just remind myself of such when i know big things are upon me.

i loved being up with the bases loaded and two out in the ninth down by two.
