Do you get along with your siblings?

My brother and I don't speak...but he's older and 33 and can take care of himself (I hope).

However, me and my sister (17) don't get along at all, but I tell you what, I'd kill a bitch that messes with her or gives her a hard time. Somehow, I feel like it's OK to give her shit, but if someone else does, it's not OK. I think it's because she's my sister and I'm allowed to....sort of in my job description.

So what are your relationships like with your siblings?

I think you just summed up how all older siblings see their younger siblings.

 

my older brother is a whack job, but happily being cared for by his sugar mama. but i love him to death when he shows up.

my next older brother is an aging all-star popular boy. he's a pain in the ass, but i love him.

my younger siblings i get along very well with.

 

You have a lot of siblings. Your parents must have been very horny.

Kudos to your oldest brother though. Sugar mommas are the way to go.

i get along well with my younger sister

she coming to terms that i was right when i gave her advice years ago...but she didn't follow it. definately some growing pains going on.

but we have a good relationship. we used to fight, but not anymore. i give her some shit though. she can handle herself though, she and her ex have arguments. fine, unless it gets overly bad...and then i'll step in if i have to.

 

I get along with all of my siblings.. I just don't talk to most of them that often

the oldest use to refer to herself as my second mother.. and I guess that was a decent description.. I spent a lot of time with her till I turned 8 and she moved out
after that we were still very close till my second marriage... my values changed (longish story)

the second oldest girl.. well what can I say we have never had anything in common.. and the barriers have never really been broken down.. although she does own my very first painting and hangs it in every house she has ever lived (that must mean something)

then there is my oldest brother and I use to be very close to him.. we would go rock climbing together and even though I am extremely afraid of heights I trusted him immensely.. and now I show him the love every chance I get.. few and far between (he's kinda like a drifter)

then there is the middle sister and I had a very good relationship with her until I started having babies.. she has not always been a very good mother in my eyes.. but I have learned to except her for all that she is.. and isn't

then there is the younger of the two brothers and I love spending time with him.. too bad I moved so far away

and lastly there is the sister who is only a year older then me.. we have had plenty of ups.. and downs but all in all I would have to say we get along very well

I have one sister that share the same parents.
Shes 20 and I love her to death
From my mom and stepdad, I have 2 sisters and 1 brother, ages
are 10, 8, and 6, and they are wonderful, beautiful, and very bright
children that I get along with very well.
From my dad and stepmom, I have 3 brothers, ages
are 14, 11, and 8, and they are pretty wild, but I love them too.
Though I havent seen them since December of last year since I
dont speak with my father anymore, and he recently divorced my step mom.

 

i have a younger sister and her and i get along probably the best out of any siblings i know personally. she's 14. she doesnt smoke pot (which actually can get in the way of some bonding... lol) but ill get over it. we're basically best friends.

Yes, I get along with my sister. She is 9 years younger than I am, and I took care of her quite a bit during her infancy. I think I was more of a mother to her than a sister while growing up. Our mother had a lot of emotional issues, was going through a divorce, things of that nature. She just couldn't be there for us like we would have wanted. I took over much of the daily care of her, making meals for her, helping her with homework that type of thing.

However, I still have the sisterly protective vibe going on. Anyone messes with her, they mess with me. I've been known to confront friends and boyfriends of hers. Yes, believe it or not, when it comes to my family, I will run my mouth and then some. Just the other day I heard about how my sister's boyfriend has been treating her, and it took all of my self control not to get my little sister on her cell phone (she was with him at the time) and demand to talk to him. I can't fight her battles for her all of the time, but it's hard to sit back and see someone treat her badly!

I seriously want to smack her boyfriend upside his big dumb head. Punk. Grrr.

 

yes, i do. My sister is 26, which makes her 10 years older than me..and we get along awesomely. We used to fight all the time, she actually strangled me once. hahaha.

I think she's the shit and wouldn't trade her for the world. She's so awesome!

 

my brother and I went through a phase of not getting along, but for the last 8 or 9 years or so we get along to the point where we often even hang out together.

i get along great with my younger sisters, and i get alone pretty well with my brother.. but living with him alone has really tested things... we don't talk much and i'm kinda grossed out at times.. he's dirty and likes to stay in his room all the time... half the time he's either sleeping or having sex with his girlfriend.... *shrug* but i still love him and we give each other advice and stuff.

 

My brother and I have always gotten along pretty well. He's 4 years younger than me and just got his license...it's so weird to see him driving. We squabble still sometimes, but eh, it's not too bad. Out of all the brothers I could've had, I'm glad I have him. He's hilarious, really smart, and has all the popularity I never did. Haha. I'm really proud of him, though, and it's great because I feel like a lot of his life I helped raise him, so I feel accomplished when I see how well he's doing with school and his job.

 

I have 2 older brothers and we get along great. We hang out and talk everyday.

It depends however my or thier mood is

 

I've only met my two half-siblings once. They're a lot older than I am (they've been married for a while and both have kids, some of whom aren't much younger than I am) and they live in Alabama. They're both from my dad's first marriage.

I really wish I could see them more...even though they're in their thirties and I'm only fifteen. It'd still be nice to get to know them...along with my nephews and niece. I've only met them once as well.
