While out and about have you bought something that you did not plan to buy? What was it? And what was your motivation on why you bought it?
I suppose so, but not traditional impulse buy items. Yesterday I bought a lot of bananas and some organic soup that was on sale. I hadn't planned I buying them, so they were technically impulsive.
i do it with cars all the time motivation is usually i see it as a great deal or easy way to spot some fresh cash from re-sale
i try not to make impulse buy. in electronics stores i tend to browse for quite a while, looking at all the wonderful new things that are available in 2014
My whole life is a series of impulse buys. My whole life seemingly runs off impulses. I don't think, I just do! And it works out for me this way. =]
It happens once in a while, usually when I go to a thrift store (cheap and nice clothes and accessories, woohoo!) or visit the local farmer's market. I always seem to strumble upon things that are either looking way too delicious or that I need and happen to be on sale for dirt cheap, so I usually jump on the occasion.
Yup all the time. eBay, any store with CDs and DVDs and vinyl I'm all over. If I walk into a sports warehouse I just can't see to leave without buying a stupid ball or something. I blow my money away, always have and probably always will.
Actually, almost never. I only go shopping when I have something I need and I usually go in, find what I'm looking for and leave. Every once in a while I may go to a garage sale and see something I like but I don't count that as impulse buying because that's what I'm there for and even then...most of the time I will only buy it if I know I will use it. Edit.....except for beer. I'll go out to buy a certain kind of beer and sometimes will see something else I think I'll like so I buy both.
I walked into the grocery store and as soon as the coolness of the ac shivered my spine the scent *ripe peach* sent an electrical signal that bypassed my frontal lobes completely, sent me careening like a blind rhino into the produce section. Upon exiting the grocery store I immediately extracted two perfectly ripe meticulously chosen peaches, in less than sixty seconds one was a stone. Then walking I passed a black lady just sitting on the side of the parking lot looking miserable, I offered her a ripe peach, she flashed fear then anger before declining. I just kept my balanced chi rolling along, and enjoyed the second peach. It tasted like honey, sex and sunlight.
I am not one for impulse buying as in something I do not need or have a use for. I will say though that sometimes I do trip on something that I end up buying more for others for occasions in the future.
you come across some good shrooms and want to share the experience? makes sense. really, i don't do much impulse buying at all. not since a few years ago when i would occasionally go to the used cd/video game store and pick up a random cd or video game or two. i don't even do that anymore though; i don't play enough video games to pick up randoms at this point, and cd's are obsolete. and i still wouldn't really consider those impulse buys anyway, i went to the store with the intent of buying a cd or game, i just didn't know which one.
Not really. When I do buy anything, I weigh the pros and cons quickly in my head.....as I am a pretty quick thinker....and if the pros are outweighed, I do not buy...I am pretty practical....When I did buy anything expensive like dolls, which I don't anymore, I knew I could get my money back, which I did most of the time.... I can be pretty fun shopping for gifts for someone else, though.....then I tend to go a little haywire at times, to make someone else happy.
