I do think it's possible.. I know that it gets hard sometimes, what relationship doesn't??.. I know people that have gotten married after meeting online.. I loved someone I met online but we didnt work out.. Besides, if 2 people really want to be together they can make it happen..

I know people who've met and fallen in love online. It happens. Though, be VERY cauious. Like, you never know the other person. I personally would get a record check on them, or not do it at all. Scary risks.

i think if it's a pre-existing long distance relationship, the couple can use the internet to help maintain that relationship.

as for "meeting" online and then really meeting... i'm sure that can work for some people. but it's not my style. i can understand when people talk and then meet up at a common event.. like humane society members might talk and find out they're going to the same shelter benefit and plan a run-in.. that's straight. but i think building up a relationship online, and then eventually planning to meet, is just silly.

and in terms of "meeting" online, and never having actually met, that is in no way true love. it might seem like a relationship. it might work in the sense that it brings both people happiness. they might have a legitimate desire to be loved by the other.. but it's not the same as truly being in love. to call it love in the highest sense trivializes love.

i know this sounds contentious, and i appologize, but honestly, i wonder about the mentally stability of someone who claims they are romantically in love with someone whom they have never met.

I definatley think so, but be weary of long distance ones. It can be painfull to fall in love with somebody that lives a world away.
