I have been planning to try shrooms for quite a while now but I was just prescribed 40mg doses of steroids for some bad poison ivy. Would steroids and shrooms be ok to mix or could this cause some bad effects. Also, how about steroids and alcohol?
It would have been good to explain that the steroids you are taking are not the steroids most people are thinking of when they see this thread. And i dont know about you but when i was taking similar stuff for poison oak I felt pretty irritable and depressed. Might not mix well with tripping.
With shrooms you may get some increased stomach upset not to mention possible minor contributions to the psychotropic effect. It is generally not a good idea to drink while on any oral steroid including corticosteroids. It would probably be best to wait until you are off (or nearly off) steroids.
