do spore syringes spoil?

Discussion in 'Magic Mushrooms' started by HauntedGraffiti, Mar 15, 2008.

  1. If I ordered a spore syringe and didn't use it for a couple weeks, would it still be okay to use? or would it spoil?

Edit: Sorry I said "spore" instead of "spoil". ha spores cant sporulate..

I don't think that spores can sporulate, but your syringe should be fine as long as it was sterile to begin with. I've kept them around for months before.

i used a 2 year old syringe the other day and it's germinated fine.

    spores sporulating wtf?

  4. Don't forget that mushrooms grow back every year when it is their time from spores that have laid dormant all year long waiting for the right conditions to propagate.

It's fine in a sealed jar. And most syringes are probably fine fo a while. However, some syringes aren't that good as far as air tight goes. Hell the syringes in a jar and you're probably even safer.
