most of those herbs can be referenced over at www.erowid.org

maybe 4 of them (imho) have the potential for noticable sedative effects, if properly prepared from premium quality herb (or ---> some will give powerful extracts, if done right...)

hey dude - becareful with useing these as seditives. gnrm23 is right, look them up on erowid. I know for a fact that too much Kava will F with your internal organs, liver i think. you might be able to get these to work, but not to any great extent, and i dont suggest making a habit out of it. Seditive tend too suck in my opinion any way though:p

Yeah, it was recently discovered that Kava usage leads to liver damage and can make you prone to cancer.

well, those kava studies (european) were sorta tainted:
the extracts were from foliage rather than rhizomes (rootlets), & the folks with liver complications were apparently heavy booze drinkers as well...

Okay, well that definately does explain things a bit. All I knew was what the guy at GNC told me, lol.

If you get the real stuff online, kava's a quality drug.. the effects are like a very low dose of mushrooms, with exactly the same mild euphoria. But maybe a bit more like valium. The problem is that it tastes so fucking evil.
