hey if youre allowed to be christian then i am allowed to be bugged by it, k? youre right - people do have there own beleifs. and i beleive that christians who have every little thing programmed into their little heads by theyre church pastor just so the world can seem less complicated are ANNOYING. i am sorry, but i do not like hypocritical idiots who have all theyre answers spoon-fed to them. i am not saying ALL christians are like this, but the ones that are bug me. i detest hypocrites.

 

yes and no....
i get along best with my younger sister, and she's the only member of my family who is christian, she's also the family member who i find has the most 'morals' per say.....however, i do not believe this is an instance of cause and effect where by her christianity makes her the moral person she is, or easier to get along with... i think that christianity offers her an outlet where she can justify the presence of her morals when societty around has an abundant lack of them.
its like pot, i myself am lazy, i also smoke pot, however i have been lazy for much longer than i have smoked pot, but i find there are a lot lazy people who also smoke pot. i don't believe its a cause and effect, but the corelation is there.
when you burn something it turns black, this is true, i jsut find to many people assume if you see something black, it must have been burned (metaphoricly speaking of course)

I don't have anything against religion, just some of the people who partake in it.

anyways, no, christians dont bother me. my mom "preaches" to me.... i dont like it but i accept it cause it's my mommy... ya know? she raised....

but someone having a certain faith certainy does not bug me, whatever that faith is.

altho... i dont like being bugged with "convert to this bullshit", unless it's my mom cause like i said, its my mommy. she means well.

 

if you believe that setting cats on fire and throwing them in fireworks factories while school children are being brought on a tour of the facility is a good thing, then i think that perhaps, i would be justified in not liking you because of your beliefs.
so tell me, if we can't not like someone because of they're beliefes, what can we not like them for? the way they look? where they were born? or are we not allowed to not like anyone?

hate is a strong word, i believe the title of the thread contains 'bother' rather than 'hate'. should we then accept all people for who they are, be them rapist, murderers, nuns or pyromaniacs? or do we have an obligation as members of societty to do otherwise?

 

being a christian i think you guys should know that we are people too, why did you focus this thread on christians? why not homosexuals, or black people, or women etc....
some christians bother me, but no more than anyone else, if a person bothers you it's not fair to just say that its cuz of their religion or beliefs, it would be better to blame it on how they talk about their beliefs or how they don't practice what they preach etc...
