Ive only ever had one experience with DMX, which was very enjoyable...
Basically wanted to explore it a bit more but have found it very hard to get my hands on..

Every chemist over here in Australia asks you 20 questions when you request a DMX containing product and as soon as you sound the least bit 'healthy' they put it back on the shelf and hand you something containing 'non DMX' active ingredients..

Its almost not worth the effort..

Basically want to know what other sources (if any) there are to get some simple cough syrup :p .. without being questioned like I just robbed a bank :s

Pharmacies have been aware for some time now that there are kids out there using dextromethorphan to get a high off it. This is an abuse of a medication, so thanks to you guys, it's now restricted for everyone. :2thumbsup:

As it's normally very easy to spot these druggies coming in for more, it usually won't get sold to you, and they will sell you something else instead.

So go for a walk, learn jazz tap - do something worthwhile with your life instead of robo-ing. As someone else mentioned, it's not very good for you, and yup pharmacists are on to you!

    1. You're either underage, going to the wrong pharmacies, and/or buying the stuff often; I have no trouble getting Robitussin Dry Cough Forte from my local pharma, and the only questions I've been asked are "Is it a chesty cough?", to which a simple "yes" will suffice, or "How long have you had the cough/been using cough syrup for your cough, to which I personally don't know the 'right' answer, so I just say "Oh no, my mother/grandmother sent me to buy it for her [subtext; "She's disabled"]".

    2. I don't know why everyone's shitting on DXM - sure, abuse of anything is retarded, but if you moderate your 'robotrips' to once every three weeks, it is a superbly amazing, legal and easy to obtain, dissociative drug.

Everyone's known, since DXM has been a cough med. Any change of rules for everyone is not because of a few people who use their minds as they wish, it's because of moral panic and fascism, people who want to limit how you may use your mind.

Where the hell do you live, that it won't get sold to you? Put your shit on the counter, hand them your money, if they say some shit about having a cough be like yeah, sure.

No one's going to NOT do drugs because you try to stop them, they'll just do more damaging, sketchy drugs with less regulation and therefore less safety. You don't save anyone like that, you drive them to even worse things, making it more likely that they DIE before figuring things out.

OP, why the hell are you asking a pharmacist about this? Tell them the product you want, buy it, leave the store.

I don't really have the time or inclination to reargue with you the points of medicinal abuse you are obviously still not quite understanding so - http://www.hipforums.com/newforums/showthread.php?t=451879&page=3

And in terms of people taking DXM recreationally 'using their mind'?! LOL! To get a high off DXM you have to far, far exceed the safety dose reccomended for it as a medication. The high - if you even get one - can come with a whole host of other pretty nasty health concerns - you can reseach these yourself - will give you something else to do :2thumbsup: .

In other words for you - it can make you very sick indeed. So before you resume your squeaking about moral panic and fascism (thanks for the laugh, though!), realise that pharmacists actually have an obligation to all their patients to ensure they are using medicines safely and effectively. While you may be comfortable with the idea of telling the family of an individual who suffered a seizure that you sold them DXM knowing they were going to exceed the safety dose in order to hallucinate, because you didn't want to limit how they 'used their mind' - most pharmacists, who actually care about the wellbeing of their patients, won't be down with that. Am not sure how to spell out the concept of why some drugs are controlled and restricted any more to you, so shall we just move on?

As to your other point about how pharmacists should sell DXM to people wishing to use it recreationally, because otherwise they will just take dodgier drugs. It's not the pharmacists' fault or responsibility that someone wants to get drugged up. This is not due to some conspiracy against you, trying to stop you expanding your mind or restricting your rights to fuck up your body however you want. I HAVE SPELT OUT WHY THIS DRUG IS RESTRICTED. So let me not have to say it all over again. Please. I am begging you. If someone is dumb enough to simply move on to harder drugs because they can't get DXM, that is their call. NOT the fault of the pharmacist for not selling them DXM.
