DMT smoking device options

i went to the headshop today to try to find an "oil burner" AKA meth or freebase pipe, since i've read that's the best for DMT, but no one had them. so should i get:

- a small glass spoon/regular weed pipe with a carb? i could load the DMT in the top like weed, or through the carb and use it like a meth pipe.

-a small glass "steam roller?" DMT might melt easily into the tube, and not have a place to form a puddle.

-a small glass bubbler? not the nice heady ones for weed. it was a simple bowl head inserted into a thin glass globe, and a glass mouthpiece. this could be loaded at the top (there are actually two screens with space in between them - which might be perfect) or it could be loaded in the glass globe where water is supposed to go - again the meth pipe style.

i can get any of those three for $10 or 15

-or should i just use my bong?

-or use a glass cigar tube/test tube to vape it in?


is water filtration ok with vaping DMT or no? i've heard some people say to dump the water out if you're smoking DMT, but some say a water bong is the way to go - cools down the nasty smoke.

thanks for any advice. i'm really excited to try DMT for the first time, but i want to get it right.

umm, i think the freebase. not the fumarate salt.

i'm supposed to smoke/vape it, i know

 

i've used water when I do it and it's worked fine. If there is small amounts of material that is lost in the water vapour it's made up by the amount that you can smoke and hold in your lungs.

Before I really understood what exactly the freebase was I tried to drown it in water to dissolve and inject it and couldn't get anything in the syringe or anything to dissolve. I ended up scraping up all that and smoked it and that still worked fine.

cant you just use a piece of aluminum foil and a straw?

 

i guess, though might have lots of spills that way. it's hard to vaporize something when you've just gone from sober to +++ in 10 seconds

this is the meticulous thing I was talking about LOL. Just hit it with something you got, do the foil or make a lightbulb or your makeshift crack pipe if you have to do it like that, but sandwiching it in between some green leaves in a water filled bubbler with no direct flame works. No way I could placebo that shit and the smoke is still harsh but I got big ol hits. Take out the water if you want. Crack pipe and "machine"apparently work best but it sounds mostly in the technique also experiences vary a bit from each other.

 

have you tried gas stations? like sketchy ones ... or porn stores...i don't know too much about smoking it properly, but i think with what i do know i do have to advocate the meth pipe...but then again do what you need to do, if you dont have time or places to look.

 

i knew you'd think that guerilla. i suppose i am meticulous, but that's my nature. i don't really wanna smoke it through my bong, unless it's gonna clean off easily. my bong, my vape, and a very shitty tobacco pipe are all i have.

i don't think i'm gonna find the meth pipe around here, but i'll maybe get the ones from ebay, if that's the best way. or i might go with something from the local head shop. i haven't researched "the machine" yet.

part of me is really excited to do it, but part of me doesn't see any problem with waiting. plus i like to take some time between trips. just had one a couple weekends ago, and plan to take 2ce next monday. but i know DMT isn't the same kinda trip as L or 2ce, in that it's short. i will get to it when the time is right. i guess in my mind, i have to prepare the best i know how. and that includes getting the proper gear and read about technique. i don't wanna waste the precious spice. if i had the pipe already, i probably would have smoked some today.

 

smoke it in a big bowl on stuff.. If it isnt see thru crystals, then I wouldnt worry about it. . see thru get rose pipe... tbh its really not that important to me..

 

Have you heard about the like best enviornment to do it in from the pros? McKenna and turner. I have found it to be true too except I haven't smoked it in pitch black darkness or outside yet.

They and now I as well recommend smoking it during the day in a room with no lights' on but diffused sunlight coming in through the shades/shutters.

yes sir, I was thinking about trying it without water once or maybe a lightbulb for the sake of comparison but I dunno if I have enough left because my friend is coming over this week and I'm just going with the tried and true method for us.

If you are not trying it for a little while and I have some remaining I'll give it a go on another way of smoking and let you know of any subjective differences I find.

 

My friends and I have always used a light bulb to smoke dmt. I think there are probably some instructions on how to make a light bulb vaporizer on the internet, but I'm too lazy to look it up. I found it to be extremely effective, but I don't have another medium of comparison. I also recommend having a friend or two to help you hold the lighter on the light bulb. Also, a torch lighter or grill lighter is better since a bic or regular lighter will get extremely hot while trying to heat the lightbulb and vaporize the DMT.

 

i didnt see this before but anything on EDIT is your best bet because they always have the lowest prices and the reviews are by real customers so this weird vaporizer pipe must work well

i love edit they always give you a bunch of cool wrist bands and lots of times will throw in a free pack of papers and things like that
