It was the last night I could spend with some close friends, who are close enough to be classed as family - I've never had such a wonderful connection with people outside my family before. We decided to roll to talk & then drop a bit of 2C-B on the come down and then follow it up with some DMT a couple of hours later. Well - I had my first "blast off". I got to see the control/monitoring room of the universe, made out of a colour of light I've never seen before. A multi-dimensional being appeared next to me, like a floating head/face with a form of tail that looked vaguely like the tails of the sign of the fish (the christian religious logo people stick on cars etc)... at first glance, at least. When I looked closer, it turned out it was a multi-dimensional DNA helix, twisting, twirling and folding in on itself. As was it's "beard" constantly moving, strands of "hair" dropping out of existence and re-appearing elsewhere in the beard. Absolutely amazing colours. One of the really interesting parts to this experience, I've always thought I've been able to picture the behaviour of a multi-dimensional object quite well in my head, despite struggling to describe it sometimes. This showed me a new property of multi-dimensional object behaviour, one I have never thought of previously... the way things would just drop out of existence and re-appear elsewhere, as if miniature wormholes all over the place. It looked quite similar to what a friend of mine saw on his "blast off"... similar to his experience, it wouldn't look at me and I got a similar feeling that if it did - due to the observer effect - I would no longer exist. He only shared the basics with me... I shared other details and I was able to describe things he saw but wasn't able to explain. That was quite intriguing. This being, after letting me have a look around the control room, took me for a fast tour of the universe... ending looking at the earth, from an orbit quite a bit closer than the moon. Then, playfully, it pushed me into the centre of the sun. I got to watch the fusion of hydrogen atoms... it really does seem so simple as the nuclei being squashed together... but electron behaviour seems so much more erratic than I'd previously thought - their quantum behaviour is staggering to see. When this happened, some photons were released from the interaction... I got to follow the photons out of the sun, through the various layers to shoot out of the surface and head to earth. These photons headed straight through the atmosphere, down to the ground and straight through my window and into me… this is when my experience ended. Funnily enough, it was just as the sun was coming up - amazing Anyone familiar with the length of time it takes for photons to reach the earth from the centre of the sun (centre, not surface) will have some kind of idea about how long that experience felt like it lasted! It seemed so excited that it was able to show me around, share things with me - almost like a playful child. It was quite a profound experience... something I'm still struggling to rationalise as either real or only in my head... it's somewhere in the middle and to be fair, I don't even feel the need to define it. For someone like me to have such an experience… i think is really quite substantial. I have a very logical mind and to me, the probability of a creator seems quite slim. I've never denied the possibility for a more developed being to have seeded life on this planet, or for a higher dimensional being to have created the universe even… it's just believing that is not easy for me. I'm certainly no instant convert - but it has given me something to think about, that's for sure.
takes about 8 minutes for light to travel here from the surface of the sun, dunno about from the center though. i'm pretty jealous that you got to see the motions of electrons i think i've only made it to the "waiting room" on DMT. but i did see something reminiscent of this: i described it as an "entity" or whatever you want to call it, that was wearing a concrete suit. what i meant was - imagine if wearing a concrete suit allowed you to merge with concrete walls and hide inside of them / move through them. i don't know why i thought of concrete, but i did. anyways, this "being" was wearing a suit made of ....the fabric of the universe? space time? so it could slip in and out of it and exist or not exist. to me it seemed as if i was interfering in a normal (work?) day for these beings. one of them sort of agreed to look after me. i had the thought that if i had taken more DMT, that this thing might lead me through the door of this waiting room, but for now i just kinda stuck there until i was ready to leave.
Yes, I had a vaguely similar experience on my last DMT trip... I was practically motionless in what seemed like a very large room. Then I looked to my right and there were what looked like giant stone (or concrete) statues, sitting down. Then they turned their heads to look at me & I realised they weren't statues. One started getting up to come over to me, it seemed... but that's when I came back. The previous times I've tried DMT - I've always been wanting to blast off. This time, it was an old friend's first time to try it & he was nervous about the recommendation to get comfortable... so I showed him how it would affect him and what to expect. I hadn't even been planning on DMT that night, so hadn't been focusing on anything or hoping for anything - just give it a go and see what happens. I think, like acid, if you really want to blast off - it won't let you. I also get the impression it won't let you see what you're not ready to see or not willing to see. I'd had some more spiritually freeing (albeit no directly spiritual) trips and life experiences that may have helped me this time, not sure. Same dose as before, although 2C-B could have helped too. I'm very much looking forward to my "big" trip, camping on top of a mountain during the summer... some DMT will be coming with me for the peak, if I can remember how to use the bong anyway lol - I will be going rather deep and dancing in the universe It takes a photon somewhere in the region of 10,000 - 1,000,000 years to reach the surface of the sun. I thought it was interesting I seemingly got to watch its entire path... albeit with the fast forward button pressed
Good report, I enjoy reading your perspective of the DMT experience given your physics background. The DMT trip creates such a convincing sense of authenticity with it's perfectly fractalized presentation and sense of communicative structure the entities put forth, that while I consider myself fairly grounded in logic and reason, there are aspects of that trip that certainly raise some doubts and help me better understand or relate to many of the experiences of entities, spirits, etc. that many experience via Psychedelics or otherwise. I have looked at entities on DMT and they back at me, I didn't really get the observer effect part, but most of the rest of what you mention I can relate to. I've had extremely difficult time with commmunication with entities, always seems apparent that entities attempt to communicate in some manner when I experience them on DMT but it never translates for me.
why's it take a photon so long to reach us from the center of the sun? gravity is holding it back? ...source?
And this is why I joined! Great way to spend 20 minutes, learned something new and read a great experience. Thank you Tastyweat for sharing! Estimates of the "photon travel time" range from as much as 50 million years[5] to as little as 17,000 years. Ref http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solar_core. For more info.
Thanks bud It seemed as though most of them were able to observe me without issue... but there was one, the one that took me on a tour - it was flying to my right hand side... looking straight ahead the whole time, never turning its head round or moving its eye (i only saw one side). None of them seemed to try to communicate with me this time, not directly at least - just motion. There was the semi-usual DMT noise in the background - but it was stronger, more vivid this time... came across as a bit mechanical. The sound of the universe perhaps, it doesn't sound like any frequency the brain or body would make. Source = my university degree :afro: Due to the density at the centre of a star, the mean free path of the photons is very very small... so basically they bump into a lot of things, being absorbed and re-emitted... this bouncing around takes an incredibly long time before they're finally able to get free. Thanks dude :sunny:
