Just curious if anyone has listened to their new CD, wondering if I should buy it or not? Let me know what you think.

Unless the band has had some major changes, such as a new vocalist, I'd leave it on the shelf.

But, ive never been partial to the monkey noise vocals, so take it with a grain of salt.

wow, this guys a doosh. I heard it, if you've heard disturbed before you know pretty much what your getting into. Something metaldeth over here can't seem to realize is that the band after every CD gets consistently better. I know CDs from disturbed such as Believe sucked. The guitarist is getting better aswell as all the other band members.

I don't know if you should exactly purchase this CD but if you like Disturbed this is another awesome CD. Come on, look at the cover.

Does this mean that the vocalist doesn't do his monkey voices anymore?

Monkey voice? Hmmm, overall good CD, if you don't like his voice I think you should be a bigger man and enjoy the music and the meaning for its all there in pretty good quality.

I've never seen disturbed as a musically talented or complex band. They are pretty basic. For this album to be any good, they would have had to progressed exponentially, and I sincerely doubt that has happened.

I can't even enjoy that man, honestly. The songs are far too vocal-based to get around. I'd put them right up there with lamb of god for bands who's vocals may be forcing them to be shitty.

Yah, even if I could get past the vocals (Which are central to the music...) , then they're still horribly basic and generic.

Its considered good if you like it, bad if you don't.

A matter of opinion, of course.

yeah, a matter of opinion, its the thing with you fucks though, you haven't even heard the record yet you judge it solely on your dumbass opinion on how the other ones sounded... pathetic

Haha, how is it pathetic in the least to judge a band's work based on knowledge of previous releases? If a band has only released unlistenable music in their entire career, what would lead a person to expect anything else?

lol come on man. everyone tries to be civil and then you post this bullshit.

I couldn't think of a better place to start with my opinion other than my previous knowledge of the band. And yes, I've heard one single from the new CD, it was shitty IMO. combine that with the fact that I've heard all the previous disturbed CD's at least once in their entirety due to friends, and I have absolutly no reason at all to buy yet another shitty record from another shitty band and "try it out".

funny post dude. "judge it on how the other ones sounded" lmao..duh.
