I read on here a few months back tips people suggested when buying acid at shows to better the chances of getting real stuff, like questions to ask the seller and what not, anybody remember those or have any?
The primary thing to look for is whether the dealer has dilated (enlarged) pupils or not; if he's selling acid, he's more than likely dipping into the supply (who wouldn't?). Otherwise, stick to blotter acid; it's consistently better than any other medium. Right now alot of white blotter's going around that's been known to be good (not the best, but still good nonetheless.) I'd recommend eating around 5 hits for a decently heavy trip.
See, this used to be good advice when all the acid came from the travelling circus, but who's still touring? What sucks though now is you have shitheads trying to rip you off everywhere. If you find someone who rips you off, do the world a favor and rob him. Use all of his money to buy real acid and hand it out to the headiest people you meet.... Just make sure you give enough time for it to kick in before flipping lol...
Real LSD-25 (I'm talking about d-Lysergic Acid Diethylamide-25 not some research chem bought off the net and jacked up twice it's worth) will glow white under a black light. Also you should keep in mind the chemical appearence, smell, taste of LSD-25. It is typically odorless with no color or slight amber in color. Because LSD-25 is active in such small doses (1/10 of a milligram) there is not enough chemical to produce taste. However a very slight metalic taste could be LSD but will most likely be a RC, most of which have a strong metalic taste.
Actually, ANY liquid dropped on a solid surface will glow under a blacklight; NOT just LSD 25 (besides the fact that blacklights are good for DESTROYING LSD). Very helpful...
The chemical appearance? ROFL, I'm sure you've seen lots of crystal in your day, but not everybody else is so lucky . LSD crystal can come in several shades of color depending on purity. Fluff is >95% pure and white... if there is a slight amber tint, then that indicates the presence of impurities. There are color names for each grade of purity. LSD does not taste like metal either.
ok I think you all have missed the point of this question...I'm not going to bring a black light with me to shows for testing acid, and I doubt many dealers are going to let me taste it before purchasing...so I'm wondering what kinds of questions to ask the dealer that should help determine if its legit or not... questions such as how many micrograms, the name of it, etc.?
Dude, they are drugdealers. Generally, a huge percentage of drug dealers are dishonest, and would steal a dollar from their dying grandmother. You can't expect a person like that to tell you the truth when you ask something that is affecting your decision to give him money or not. If you're lucky you might meet an honest person who is not talking out of their ass, in this case, the best question I think is what kind of crystal it was laid with/ have you tried any? If they say yes ask how often they trip, how hard they like to trip etc... It's risky business and there is no sure fire way.
Look, what it boils down to is that everyone is afraid to talk about the subject because of the draconian laws against LSD. I swear I asked the same question a couple of months ago at the Shroomery forum and I was given a warning by a moderator and my post was deleted. People are so freaked out about the situation and are so sick and tired of the same questions asked over and over that progress is not made anywhere. The feds have succeeded, but there will always be a market for LSD, because, while demand may be cyclical, it's still a well-known and very potent hallucinogen that is pretty safe. Here is what I learned: (1) Look for hippy-looking sellers, preferably older ones. (2) Ask what crystal it is and if he laid it himself. (3) Ask questions like how many grams each hit has (LSD comes in MICROgrams). (4) Ask around if there are good dealers. (5) Get to know people who you can trust. (6) Look for blotter because it's harder to fake with blotter. It seems there's a lot of bunk, so if you go to a show have a backup plan. Buy shrooms too just in case, so that if the LSD is fake at least you have a similar drug.
Your posts got deleted because there is no reason to give feds a how-to... I'd say you probably don't understand the lsd market so much or just don't give a fuck about the danger of posts like that to something that a lot of people are involved in.
I have seen the statistics on the significant reduction of LSD use, in addition to the constant complaints about the lack of availability of LSD from many, many people. I'd give the feds a little more credit than some people here who panic when there are certain discussions. There is not a lot the people who post here know that the feds do not. In fact, the inane posts about "how to synthesize LSD" just show what a joke these boards can become. This board may have some intelligence gathering potential, but I doubt it would have a whole lot. About LSD being "something that a lot of people are involved in," I doubt that, if the posts here are any indication. There are just as many posts in the LSD boards about lack of availability as about the characteristics of LSD and experiences from users. Right now the cycle of use of LSD is at a trough. LSD is even called by some counterculture types an outdated drug that is bound to be replaced by new designer drugs. Regarding "how-tos" at festivals, the feds already know they are places where people use massive amounts of drugs. In fact, just last year there were 2 deaths at Bonnaroo. If the feds really wanted to do a massive crackdown at Bonnaroo they could, but I doubt throwing 90,000 people into jail all at once with all of the costs it would entail would go well for the politicians and the public. For starters, it wouldn't put a dent into drug distribution: you'd just be getting small timers.
To judge the availability of L and size of the LSD underground based on a public forum frequented mostly by people under the age of 20 is ridiculous.
Really, I don't understand where you are getting at. Young adults are the perfect demographic for gauging the popularity of LSD. Now of course no one doubts that there are some chemists surrounded by counterculture friends cooking up some LSD and distributing cautiously. It seems to me that there is exaggeration from those who say LSD has disappeared, but it seems to be pretty common knowledge that LSD use has dropped substantially over the last few years.
