Alright, so ever since I've been a kid I've had fucked up dreams. I'm pretty sure it runs in the family, since my mom and my brother both have crazy dreams too. I've been writing them down for a while now, and it would take an eternity to go over all of the especially strange ones, but I thought I'd share some that I've had several times now. They all take place in dirty public bathrooms. Stalls overflowing, shit smeared on the walls, mold and soap-scum, etc. My first one, I walk into a public bathroom, and it's completely bronze. Everything. The toilets, toilet paper, sinks, walls, everything. But it's been aging, so now some of it's green, there's water marks on everything, and everything's overflowing. There's only one stall open, and it's in the very back. I work my way over to it, but as I get closer, it just gets further away. Suddenly all the lights go out, and one stays on and focuses on a bronze bathtub that appears in the middle of the room. There's a naked woman in the bathtub laughing at me. She has big ram horns on her head that curl around to her ears, and she's always drinking something. It's hard to tell but I think it's wine. She opens her mouth to say something, but I always wake up before she does. I've had that dream about three times now in the past five years. My second one, I'm in a courtyard, and it has a big concrete bathroom in the center of it. I walk in, and there's women next to each sick, washing their hands vigorously. This one is all black and very art deco. Same thing, everything a mess, all is overflowing. I walk to get to the back stall, and once I get there, the one toilet that isn't overflowing has no toilet paper or toilet seat. Then I hear a woman call my name from the bathroom entrance, and it's an old fat woman with a lot of makeup caked on her face, and she keeps asking me to come help her with her cats. After I try to work my way back to her, the water from the sinks and toilets starts flowing up to my waist. Finally I swim over to her, but the rest of the dream is so completely different, it derives from the bathroom topic I'm trying to interpret. Anyways, I've had that dream twice now. Now I am an artist, so I've been told artists tend to have more artistically involved dreams, but I still think mine are a bit more abnormal. Just thought I'd share them. If anyone has any idea as to what they could mean, I'd love to hear it. Thank you.
I've always had very strange dreams as well. It can help artistically if you learn how to channel your dreams through your art, you'll find that it can be incredibly satisfying. Every time I have a weird dream I can remember, I right it down and then sketch the entire thing. A lot of it has been some of my best work.
