    I dont think any British politician (in modern times, at least) has ever prompted such a volume of protest songs, across such a variety of genres....a reflection of the depth of hate she engendered right across the board.

    hmm I voted for thatcher and I lived under heath wilson callaghan etc, so I remember the 3 day week that was when businesses only operated for 3 days out of 7 because of industrial action by the miners, and you had electric being knocked off.

    I also remember the winter of discontent where you had bins not being emptied and people not being buried again because of strikes . you had at least 10 years of strikes before she was elected, and she waselected because people were sick of it all .

    anyway thats why she was elected and you need to remember that when you see her smashing unions, the unions commited suicide
