This might be a dumb question, but how much is a "dimebag" like in weight?

    All depends
    1/2 gram for chronic
    1-2 grams of schwag

Most people with good shit won't fuck around with dime bags. You're most likely to get some schwaggy shit. And, at 13, you're likely to get ripped off. you're best off going in with a few friends and trying to get a older sibling or someone to hook-up an 1/8

    Cheers

i'm not trying to be a smartass, but the only real answer is that a dimebag is whatever a dealer will give you.

$10 can buy a whole lot of different quantities of marijuana.

i've seen whole eighths (3.5g) of really crummy dirt weed go for ten dollars each.

a dimebag of most midgrade stuff in my area will usually be much less quantity than that though. usually 1.0-1.5g, with 1.3 being pretty common. and the price hike is more drastic the smaller the quantity you buy in many cases. they're really a rip off in the long run. your best bet is to buy by the ounce, but not everyone can afford that. i try to because its the best way unless you can afford and find even bigger quantities, but sources are limited for me.

i knew one guy who sold some really really good pot.....pretty expensive, too. and he sold dimebags at an even rate with his eighths... 0.7g per dimebag. its highly unusual to find good pot sold in dimes, but he did it. but it wasnt even enough to roll two joints with and made you feel like it was a waste of money, even though it would be just as much of a waste to buy the whole eighth as the pricing was the same all the way up.

so really, it is up in the air. depends on the quality, the location, and just what your dealer is trying to get out of it.

where i'm from (illinois) a nickel was usually sold as the amount that can fit entirely in the bottom part of a cellophane from cigarettes. a dime was twice that.

here, dimes are like... not even half an illinois nickel.

    it depends, really.

    a dimebag is .7 grams. just like an eighth is 3.5 grams and 50$... 5 x .7 = 3.5.
