I bought a set of 60$ scales yesterday for 15$ off this guy I know, the guy needed a hit of E and he works at this place and can get the scales they sell there for really cheap. I love having scales, yesterday we bought 4.5 and smoked gange all day. It was sweet becaseu we always knew exactly what we were smoking I'd advice you to get a set.
why do people feel so comfortable knowing the exact weight of their weed? doesnt experience tell one, if anything, that first of all precise weight is not accurate in itself due to moisture issues, but also that the weight of weed does not correspond to a) its smokable volume and b) how high youll get off a ration...
^^^ yeah ok. I see someone is trying to sound smart. Anyway its alot better then getting shit ass hand counts that could be alot less then what you paid for. Someone tries to sell you a hand count becasue they "forgot thier scales" and bam, you wip out you're own set of digis and they're like "damn!" and give you a perfect count. Yeah its true about the moisture thing but in the end moisture dosent matter that much.
hahaha no dude, someone isnt trying to sound smart, he is smart. The only reason I use a scale for is to weigh it out if I have to sell it. Any other way its pointless unless you have a shit dealer and he just happens to give you ALOT less than you pay for.
what they hell are you talking about?? i'd rather know i'm getting 3.5 g's than 1.5 g's. Like one time i got 1.5 when i was supposed to get 3.5 and no scale was involved in the deal but the guy was like "oh ya it's ultra dense!" so i ended up getting not even half of what i paid for.
so scales mean that you dont have to worry about using any judgement? honestly, if you had 1.5 grams and they said it was 3.5 grams, you can simply feel that amount. no matter how dense it is, you can easily feel teh difference. scales should come into handy if they say its 3.5 and you find out its 3 or something. and im not saying scales are bad. i just think theyre nothing worth paying lots of money for (though you got it cheap, of course thats always good, but most scales, people save up for and make a big deal about) but moreso carrying around and pullin out in front of dealers, of whom, if your not used to, could find it an incredibly insult and get you in shit. along with that, carrying scales along with marijuana in places in america would most likely get you into an 'intent to sell' sort of thing, whichh is a much bigger sentance. but really, mistaking 1.5 grams in weight for 3.5 is not something that should happen to anyone who buys enough to have the idea to get scales in the first place...
how can you not tell whethor its dense or not just bye looking/touching it through the bag? Once you have seen how much 1/8th is you know.
well not after once, but after enough purchases for anyone to start worrying about exact values, one should be at teh point where they know how much they want.
while some scales are $20, others are $80 or more. Why? it's all about how specific the weight is that is calculated and presented by the scale. For example, if i sell weed or just have a digi to make sure i don't get ripped off with deals w/weed, i keep a digi on me. With weed, people don't care about the hundreths or especially the thousandths place, but mainly the whole number and the tenths place (3.5) With people who deal with coke, heroin, meth, or other expensive illegals, weights more specific are needed. Thus someone who sells drugs like these would probably pay more for a scale that suits his needs.
^^ man the scales i bought were originally 60$ and they only go to tehts of a gram, if i saw one for 20 i'd be happy.
